Meet the Team.

Zaggora has always been based in Central London, UK. This is our home in this Victorian Town House building in London Bridge, right next to the world famous Borough market.

Whilst we have operations around the world, London is where we imagine and design all of our products, produce content and co-ordinate global activities like marketing and operations.

We have logistics and customer service operations in the USA, fulfilment in Canada and dedicated websites serving customers in Australia and Asia. All of these activities are co-ordinated out of London where we make regular visits to teams based around the world.

We’re blessed to be based in such an incredible City that has a wealth of talent in the Creative industries. Our in-house London design team draws on inspiration from the arts and street style to create active inspired, versatile pieces for modern living. We work collaboratively with customers to engineer the finest fabrics for the optimal fit and feel.

We wanted to share with you the people behind Zaggora who work hard every day to bring our products and service to life for all of our customers around the world. We’ll be adding more of the team here shortly, including the warehouse teams who fulfill all online orders in the USA and the UK as well as our production team who overseen the garment technology behind every product from design through to fulfilment.

Founder

Dessi Bell

Dessi founded Zaggora in 2011 after a successful career in banking at JP. Morgan.

On a day-to-day basis, Dessi’s focus is on designing great products at great value for our customers. She works with creative, production and supply chain to ensure we make the best possible products at the best possible price.

Previously, Dessi studied at the London School of Economics, graduating with Honors in 2005. She then worked in the finance industry for 6 years at Investment Bank JP. Morgan.

Founder

Malcolm Bell

Malcolm founded Zaggora in 2011 with his wife Dessi.

On a day-to-day basis, Malcolm’s focus is on the Zaggora customer experience. This includes overseeing creative, web design and digital user experience, product packaging and customer care after-sale in the USA, UK and Europe. Malcolm also oversees the marketing and sales teams.

Previously, Malcolm studied at the London School of Economics, graduating with Honors in 2005. He then worked in the finance industry for 5 years managing investments for family offices.

Malcolm is also an Expert in Residence at Harvard Business School and at Seedcamp - Europe’s Best early stage venture capital fund where he helps portfolio companies with growth and marketing challenges.

CREATIVE

Michael Higham

Michael runs the Creative team at Zaggora and is responsible for our story telling. He oversees the production of imagery, videography and copy that brings Zaggora to life. He also builds relationships with influencers and runs all of our social media accounts on a day-to-day basis.

Michael joined Zaggora in November 2018, coming from a Senior Digital Producer role at one of Europe’s largest coffee companies, where he lead the creation of their digital content on a global level.

Michael graduated with a First-class Honours from Lincoln University in 2011 where he studied Media Production, specialising in Photography. He has a passion for capturing the perfect image and portraying a message in every photograph that he takes.

DESIGN

Victoria Jenkins

Victoria has worked in the fashion industry for 10 years and has a passionate commitment to getting clothes to fit right and make people feel great.

Day to day Victoria concentrates on creating paper patterns for first samples, fitting, and creating specification sheets for Zaggora’s manufacturers to follow; as well as answering any technical questions about product development, fabrics and testing. Victoria also continually looks to improve the standard of construction and the fabric performance, as well as updating factories on processes and Zaggora standards.

Victoria studied Fashion Design at Istituto Marangoni in London graduating with a 1st class degree and has worked with a variety of brands across a broad spectrum from tailoring and outer wear to active wear to jersey, for both Brands and Suppliers.

PRODUCTION

Denitsa Kirilova

Denitsa joined Zaggora in early 2019 to oversee the production of all Zaggora products. She works with all of our production partners to ensure the highest quality, at scale. Over 20 years, she’s produced garments for Miss Selfridge, H&M, Next and many others.

After completing her Undergraduate and MBA studies at University in Bulgaria, Denitsa went to work in the garment industry. She has a deep network of relationships from fabric mills and raw material suppliers to factories and logistics. Denitsa regularly visits our factories, fabric mills and logistics partners to ensure the highest standards.

MARKETING

Pavel Valkanov

Pavel joined Zaggora in 2017 as Digital Marketing Manager. His main goal is to connect all digital marketing activities and find the most effective ways to spread Zaggora's message.

His daily responsibilities include managing all aspects of Zaggora's digital channels and making sure things run as smoothly as possible. Pavel is also driving the adoption of new channels and activities.

Pavel's experience in digital marketing includes both agency and client side jobs as well as a brand management role at one of East Europe's largest fast moving consumer goods companies.

He is a frequent speaker at digital marketing events in London and Sofia, Bulgaria, and a guest speaker at courses related to advertising and brand management at his Alma Mater - New Bulgarian University, where he studied Visual Branding and Advertising Management.

WEB DEVELOPMENT

Alex Sipneuski

Alex joined the Zaggora team in December 2016 and is responsible for web development.

At Zaggora Alex ensures that the site operates at its best and looks great on all possible operating systems and devices. As the store continues to improve and useful features get added, he also makes sure the site remains user-friendly and easy to use.

Alex lives in Minsk but works and travels the world. He can frequently be found in Europe or Asia with his laptop, working and living in different countries. He’s expert in building and managing E-Commerce stores since he graduated University with Honors.

CUSTOMER CONCIERGE

Stacey Neves

Stacey joined Zaggora in August of 2016 and is a part of the Customer Concierge team. She has been in the customer service industry for more than 15 years and loves to make sure that customers receive the best possible experience.

Daily, and weekends too, she makes sure that all forms of communication from our customers are answered from emails to Facebook messages. She oversees the order fulfillment process as well to ensure that all orders go out in a timely manner.

Stacey has lived her entire life in Upstate New York, and currently resides in Camillus with her husband and three children.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, watching her children’s sporting events including basketball and karate, and of course shopping.

CUSTOMER CONCIERGE

Samantha Blair

Samantha joined the Zaggora team in January 2018 and specializes in providing best-in-class service to all of our customers around the world. Originally from the USA, Sam currently works between France and the USA and provides email, messaging, live chat and phone support.

With over 11 years of experience, customer relations is Samantha's passion. Her goal is to ensure that that each and every customer has a memorable experience shopping with Zaggora. Inevitably, there are sometimes issues with customer orders. Sam is here at Zaggora week days (and some weekends too) to help customers with any issues they have to be sure they are happy.

Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Samantha now resides in Ardeche, France with her husband enjoying abundant wine and good food. In her free time, Samantha enjoys traveling, spending time with family and long nature walks.
